How to Take Part
Hospitals need to have funding or a sponsor to be able to enrol their ward/unit. All monies raised for Beads of Courage UK must be done using our charity number, and not the hospital’s, and any money will then be allocated to your ward. After initial enrolment fees are paid, any excess funds will be deducted from future invoices.
Our charity numbers are 1141987 and SCO44198.
Initial start-up costs are £5000 and then the ongoing cost of replacing depleted stock. Once you are established on the programme, you will learn which beads you use most of for your patients, and they will be the ones you order more of, and others will be ordered less frequently. All hospitals need to sign a sub-licence with Beads of Courage UK, which is renewed every 2 years.
Refills
If you are a hospital registered on the Beads of Courage UK programme, you can reorder beads by filling in this order form. Payable invoices will be issued on ordering. Oncology invoices will be fulfilled by the Be Child Cancer Aware campaign. Any orders submitted that are not completed with the correct hospital contact details on will not be issued. Please remember specific ward/unit details and postcode.
